The PocoPhone F1 is the OnePlus One of our time. The only terminal with the Snapdragon 845, 6 GB of RAM, liquid cooling and a quality camera for just over 300 euros. Without knowing exact figures, we know that the POCO F1 has been quite successful, and that the company will follow a strategy – in principle – annually, with a top of the range as the only and main device.
They begin, then, with the arrival of the new year, the rumors and concepts about how the design of the PocoPhone F2 will be. The first version was criticized its polycarbonate finish, resistant material and that has allowed to lower costs, but something unworthy of a terminal of 300 euros – taking into account that some Xiaomi Redmi of 100 euros are made of aluminum. The first concept of the POCO F2 traces its lines through aluminum, and reduces the bevels according to what is expected from the medium-high range in 2019.
Ben Geskin, one of the most well-known conceptual designers of the network, has shown his design proposal for the PocoPhone F2. A terminal that imagines dressed in aluminum and with a notch in the form of “drop”. The reduction of bevels would be notorious, and the camera would be placed in a lateral position, rather more traditional.
One of the weak points of PocoPhone F1 is its main construction material. The second version would do well to give a return to the quality of construction and bet on materials such as aluminum.
It’s just a concept, and that little or nothing is still known about the PocoPhone F2. The terminal would have the latest Qualcomm processor, 6 or 8 GB of RAM, a battery of at least 4000mAh with fast charging and an improved photographic section, of wanting to continue betting on raw hardware, a strategy that has worked with OnePlus and that LITTLE It seems to want to emulate. Only time will tell if this design ends up materializing,
